Bachelor of Information Technology Sample Sop

I would like to introduce myself as Applicant Name , son of Parents Name, a permanent  resident of Address and currently residing at Satdobato, Lalitpur Nepal. I was born DOB. I am  passionate at the possibility of devoting my long term career to such a dynamic, fast-advancing  field. So, I am determined to do a Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) from University  for my professional development and progression in work.

Stating my Academic background, I have completed my SLC in 2016 AD with G.P.A from  School Name, Address and 10+2 (Science) Higher Secondary Level in 2018 AD from School  Name, Address with G.P.A. Then, with the plan to have further study in abroad, I prepared for  IELTS and took the exam on Date and scored XX. After that, I researched various Colleges and  Universities across the world to continue my further studies In Bachelor of Information  Technology and finally decided to continue it in Australia.

While searching through different internet websites, I found Australia as the best destination for  my higher Education rather than UK, USA. I found Australian education is better because it is  more focused on practical training & live projects. The degrees and qualification from Australia  are recognized by employers and leading educational institutions all around the world. The  education system of our country is still lingering in decade old courses giving more priority to  theory with less qualified lecturer while Australian education System adopts new technologies as  soon as it is available in the global market giving more priority to practical knowledge through  highly qualified instructors and educated professors. I also researched some other European  countries i.e. Germany, Finland, Denmark, Austria but most of those countries also require to  learn their own language which is tough to do and takes time as well also those countries have  high crime rate in comparison with Australia. In addition to that many international students  choose to study in Australia because of the cultural diversity, high quality of education, the  standard of living, friendly natives and employment opportunities after the completion of our  degrees under the Post Study Work (PSW). Education provided by Australian universities and  colleges is world-class. I will be afforded with satisfactory job opportunities all over the world  after studying in Australia which is not possible if I choose my country Nepal for further  education. I am well aware with the fact that Australia follows ESOS (Education Services for  Overseas Students) act 2000 for International students which deals about the right of  international students and there is Tuition Protection Services (TPS) which mean our paid fee is  safe in Australia. Also, it offers Post Study Work opportunities. While doing research about  other countries i.e. UK, USA I was unable to find such good provision. Australia is also a very  safe country in comparison with other countries. As, I found USA has high crime rate and after  the mass shooting of Las Vegas on 1st October, 2016, I do not want to travel to USA. Similarly,  getting admission in Information Technology courses is really hard in UK and the courses, as  well as the living costs, are expensive over there. Before making the final decision, I also  checked the website of Australia www.homeaffairs.gov.au, www.studyinaustralia.gov.au,  www.australianuniversities.com.au and studied about the education system of Australian  universities, visa policy and conditions. After doing this much research I am fully satisfied with  Australia and applying for the same.

The reasons behind not choosing my hometown for my higher study is that I am not happy with  the education system and curriculum of Nepal which is very old and it is heavily influenced by  politics. It needs to be developed for more practical training and working with the latest  technologies and in accordance with basic international education standards. The instructors here  are locally produced and do not have quality because they are not exposed to the international  system and they are not up-to-date with the technological advancements in IT field. Knowing,  using and working with new technologies are a dream for students in our country. Moreover,  globally renowned Universities lack in Nepal as the degree from Nepalese Universities is not  globally accepted and nor recognized. Courses offered by Nepalese Universities and Colleges are  not of International Standard that they do not meet the needs and demands of the modern market.  The teaching system here focuses more on theoretical knowledge than practical. Also, there is  lack of skilled and expert teaching faculty members to meet the standard of course. At present,  Nepal has only four universities Tribhuwan University, Pokhara University, Kathmandu  University and Purwanchal University where there are limited courses which are not up to date.  The students need to attend various entrance examinations before admissions which create time  delay on the study. So, I have no more interest left to study in my hometown.

While talking about, I am fascinated by Melbourne because it is named among the world’s most  livable cities. The title is awarded to the city with the highest score for stability, healthcare,  culture and environment, education and infrastructure. If I got the chance to study in Melbourne,  I’ll be living in a safe and vibrant city that offers world-class study options, services and the  widest range of things to do. Melbourne is the best student city in Australia and the third best  student city in the world, according to the prestigious QS Best Student Cities 2018.

After analyzing various education providers, I found University Name as the best match for me  from every dimension including financial as I have heard about scholarships, academic, student  support and other aspects as well. One of the main reasons for choosing University Name was  also because of my desire to study is in Melbourne in Australia where the high number of  Nepalese students enrolled for different courses. Moreover, I found the college is also well  equipped with modern technologies and pieces of equipment, small-sized classes, presence of  excellent teaching and sporting facilities, quality courses, accessible academic faculty and staffs  are supporting. I found the university is the most suitable for me because Federation University  is one of the Australian leading regional universities with a strong tradition of education and  training delivery spanning. It is listed on the Commonwealth Register of Institution and Courses  for Overseas Students (CRICOS) as it has met the quality standards set out in the Australian law,  which ensures to provide best possible educational services. The Study Centers of University  Name is in Melbourne and Sydney which makes it easier to choose one as a destination. The  course structure is also very effective as it provides hands-on, work-relevant courses that prepare  graduates for a range of employment opportunities. The tuition fee is not that much expensive  and is affordable for me. Apart from that, I have heard that it provides scholarships to  international students and I am also expecting to get it. If it would be then, I would feel more  convenient. By viewing the student reviews about I found this university very attractive and the  university life being enjoyable. I also did research in other universities as Southern Cross  University (SCU) and Charles Sturt University (CSU) for the same course as requiring the same  academic qualifications as Fed University but these SCU and CSU have expensive tuition fees.

Similarly, The Good Universities Guide declared, computing and IT students rate University  Name higher for measures of Student Support and Overall Experience than any other university.

Choosing a career path can be stressful and overwhelming. Information Technology is  incredibly diverse and it’s not only about fixing computers or laptops but in present society,  information is dominant and information technology (IT) influences all kinds of human  activity. The job market in computing and information technology is increasing nowadays. These  jobs require skill, training and a logical thinking process. Many of these careers are demanding  and stressful but most offer a considerable financial reward. This course will allow students to  take their career in a number of different directions. Careers vary in manpower from Network  Manager, Systems Analyst, Multimedia Developer, and Database Administrator and so on. IT  graduates will also be prepared to specialize in far wider areas of interest. Thus, after completion  of my course, I will have a lot of opportunities to work in different government, national and  international companies. I will also take the opportunity to do Post Study Work (PSW) from  which I aim to increase my practical knowledge and experience. I will be able to work for a lot  of posts in IT field in some renowned IT companies back in my country like Mercantile, World  Link, and Subisu with a considerable salary level. I believe my Australian degree will be  appreciated and I will try my best to prove my potency. I have set sights on seeing me as an IT  professional and I believe it would be possible only through University Name

I preferred to choose the 3 years full-time course, i.e. Bachelor of Information Technology  (Networking and Security) that it provides an in-depth understanding, focusing on managing  materials and human resources efficiently to ensure a high standard of quality. I am aware that  without a good financial status I would not be able to complete my course since living cost in  Australia is high and my tuition fees per semester is around AUD 11850.00(Excluding  Scholarship) Also the living expense in Australia is around AUD 600.00 per month. If I can get  an opportunity to be a part of the intellectually stimulating environment, I am sure my talents  will be put on optimal use. As for my academic strength, I have completed 10+2 level in science  faculty. This study requires mathematical and computer skills to find a solution. I have studied  Mathematics in my Intermediate level of Science (ISC) and it seems me to assist a lot for my  further study of IT.

With lots of ambition, I am applying a Bachelor of Information Technology in Federation  University, which will complete in three years. With a graduate degree and PSW in information  technology, I would be able to broaden the sphere where I can best fit myself. I am confident that  my international work experience and relevant degree will take me to a different level. I am such  a person who can’t stay away from my family for a long time. While my nation is blooming in IT  fields, so I have a plan on returning back to my homeland and pursue my career for the  betterment of my country and myself. Though our country Nepal is a developing country, many  development works and programs are going rapidly. Different big national and multinational  companies are establishing day by day like different hydropower, banks, construction offices and  yes, of course, different IT companies as well. Many companies like Softech Infosys,  Improvement Company Nepal, Bharati-software company have established in Nepal are in seek  of IT Technicians and IT professionals having international graduates. Moreover, after the recent  election Government of Nepal has divided the country into different states, municipalities and  village rural municipalities, wherein each government offices IT Technicians are to be employed

compulsorily and after completion of graduate with gaining latest practical knowledge in PSW, I  think I am capable to grab these opportunities having minimum NRs.50,000/- to 100,000/- salary. With this point of view, I am confident that I will make my investment back after my  graduation from University Name

I am aware of the visa conditions of maintaining academic growth. Hereby I want to assure you  that I understand these conditions. I will not be able to change my educational provider for at  least 6 months; I am not allowed to change from SVP to non-SVP educational provider. I need  to notify address to my education provider and if by any circumstances I change my address the  university has to be informed. I will only be able to work 20 hours per week. Maintain eligibility  (80% attendance required and minimum passing marks required)

Being an ingenuous student, I want to assure if you grant me an opportunity to join in University  Name, I will do my best to make you feel proud on having me as an international student.

Thanking you for having positive consideration on my application.

Sincerely Yours
